LeeAnna grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and knew since high school she wanted to pursue a career in speech therapy. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2012 with her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
Post undergrad she spent a year doing non-profit work in Corpus and then entered the public school field where she gained experience working with students between the ages of 10 to 16. In 2016 she got married to her best friend, Rey; and moved to Tuscon, Arizona where she entered the home health field with clients between the ages of 5 to 22. However, her "achy-breaky heart" couldn't stay away from Texas any longer, so she relocated back to Texas in January of 2019. Soon after she discovered ACS was hiring and joined the ACS family in April. She since has gained experience in the areas of Autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, articulation and phonology, fluency, receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatics, auditory processing, executive functioning, and Down syndrome disorder.
If you see her out and about on the weekends you will always catch her with either her husband, Siberian husky, Bengal cat, friends, or other family members. She enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new local restaurants, playing video games, attending festivals, gardening, sports, traveling, singing, binge-watching Netflix shows, or cruising in her husbands 66' Mustang.
